Blackburn defender Andre Ooijer will join PSV Eindhoven at the end of the season, according to his agent.

The Dutchman’s contract with the Premier League side expires in the summer and the 34-year-old is eager for a return to the Eredivisie.

Lens told Sportweek magazine: “That transfer will go through. In fact all is done already.

“Andre has made his choice – he only wants to go to PSV. And the club is willing to fulfil our wishes.

“We only need to speak about some minor details and put pen to paper. I expect everything will be done in May.”

Ooijer spent nine years with PSV Eindhoven before joining Blackburn in 2006.
