Competition: Spanish La Liga
Market: Real Madrid to win against Getafe
Odds: 1/7 @ William Hill
Real Madrid host Getafe in their last league game of the season, with Los Blancos hoping to end the campaign on something of a positive, despite their failing to seal the title once again. It could be the last game for manager Carlo Ancelotti, who is reportedly going to be relieved of his duties after the final match, with Napoli boss Rafael Benitez said to be replacing him.
As for the club, Real’s form has been fantastic. Eight wins and one draw in their last nine games has seen them end the season in fantastic shape in the league. They’ve fallen short in Europe, but barely drop a point at their Santiago Bernabeu, and William Hill are giving favourable odds of 1/7 for the trend to continue against Getafe in the form of Real coming away with all three points for their troubles.
They boast too much firepower to fall short on the final day, evident from their league high 111 goals scored over the season. They will want to put on one last show, and that could mean a one-sided affair this weekend.
