(TVL) – Sint-Truiden moved into third place in the Belgian championship group with a 1-0 win over Kortrijk on Saturday.

Neither team is a realistic candidate for the title but with European football spots up for grabs, both had enough to play for at Sint-Truiden’s Stayen stadium.

The only goal of the match came on 31 minutes and was scored by Sint-Truiden’s Ludovic Buysens to, as it turned out, hand his side the victory.

Sint-Truiden are now in shared third place with Gent, who do still have Sunday’s match with Zulte-Waregem in hand.
