Portuguese giants Sporting CP have been showing interest in AC Milan striker Luiz Adriano, A Bola can reveal.
The Brazilian forward is currently behind Carlos Bacca and Gianluca Lapadula in the pecking order at San Siro and he has largely struggled for first team opportunities.
The 29-year-old only started one Serie A fixture this season, while making another five substitute appearances, and he is almost certain to leave the club in the January window.
Sevilla and few other clubs appear to be showing interest in Adriano’s services, while Sporting CP have emerged as their latest suitors.
The Lions were hoping to watch the striker in action in the 4-1 triumph over Empoli a couple of weeks back, but the their target was an unused substitute in said game.
Having largely impressed playing for Shakhtar Donetsk, it is hardly surprising that Luiz Adriano is still held in high regard by top European sides.
