Super Mario staying at Inter

(GSM) – Internazionale forward Mario Balotelli has been taken off the transfer market according to his agent. The 19-year-old has had a frosty relationship with the club’s fans and Real Madrid-bound coach Jose Mourinho.

Balotelli has been linked with a move to Milan. Also, it has been suggested that Internazionale coach Roberto Mancini is trying to lure the player, whom he first handed his debut, Manchester City.

Jose Mourinho, who guided Inter to the treble last season, left Balotelli out of his squad for a number of games because of a perceived attitude problem.

And the youngster was roundly booed during the UEFA Champions League semi-final with Barcelona at Giuseppe Meazza in April and threw his shirt to the floor after the final whistle.

But his agent Mino Raiola insists the Italy Under-21 international’s future lies with the Serie A and European champions.

“Balotelli has been taken off the market,” he told Sky Italia.

“(Inter president Massimo) Moratti told me and we are happy.

“I have not spoken to anyone but there would only be a maximum of four clubs that could afford Balotelli.

“He has three years left on his contract and he is not on the market.”

He added: “We have resolved our problems and we are not awaiting the name of the new coach.

“It would be ridiculous if Mario decided to stay or leave based on whether the new coach liked him.”
