Milan midfielder Bakaye Traore’s agent says his client wants to stay with the Italian club, despite rarely appearing during the 2012-13 season.
The 28-year-old signed a three-year deal with the San Siro outfit after departing Nancy on a free transfer in May 2012, but received just 112 minutes of playing time throughout his debut campaign.
However, Bakaye’s representative, Olivier Yenge, has revealed the Mali international is not thinking of leaving.
“At the moment, he has no intention of leaving,” he told Milan News. “I think that, with him in top form, he can get boss Massimiliano Allegri to have a re-think.
“We are hopeful about that. The truth is that he was hampered in the last campaign by a serious injury which he was carrying for three or four months.
“The boy loves Milan and Italy. And, up to this point, Milan haven’t told us of any offers they have received for him.”
Bakaye has been capped on 21 occasions by Mali, and has scored two goals at international level.
