Spanish La Liga high flyers Villarreal are readying a summer bid for FC Porto forward Adrian Lopez, A Bola can reveal.
The 28-year-old spent the previous season on loan at El Madrigal, and while he initially struggled for playing time, the forward largely impressed in the closing stages of the campaign.
Adrian has clearly done enough to impress the Villarreal bosses as the Yellow Submarine will now attempt to sign him on permanent basis.
According to A Bola, the La Liga side are ready to offer €5 million for the experienced footballer, and with FC Porto’s asking price just slightly higher, chances are the two sides will soon find an agreement.
Adrian Lopez initially joined the Dragons in search of playing time, but following a largely disappointing spell at Estadio do Dragao, the former Spain international will be delighted to return to Spanish La Liga, where he scored 4 goals in 16 appearances last term.
