French midfielder William Vainqueur has become the latest high-profile footballer to join Antalyaspor.
The 28-year-old was hoping to return to Marseille after impressing during the loan spell, but AS Roma were unable to reach an agreement with l’OM and instead accepted an offer from Turkey.
Vainqueur in turn signed a three-year deal with Antalyspor, where he will meet a number of familiar faces.
The Turkish club have seriously reinforced their ranks of late and currently have the likes of Samuel Eto’o, Samir Nasri, Sandro, Johan Djourou and Jeremy Menez in their ranks.
William Vainqueur is expected to further reinforce the midfield department and help the team recover from the slow start to the season.
