Zola set to leave West Ham

The son of West Ham boss Gianfranco Zola, Andrea, is set to leave the Hammers to join Grays Athletic on loan.

The 18-year-old followed his father from Cagliari to West Ham.

Zola will be looking to get valuable first-team experience under Grays manager and former West Ham star Julian Dicks.

“Julian is delighted to be given the opportunity to work closely with one of the up and coming young players at West Ham,” agent James Anderson told Sky Sports.

“Andrea is a great young player and Julian hopes he can do all he can to help the player develop into a fantastic left-back.

“Julian would like to thank Gianfranco for allowing Andrea this opportunity and looks forward to linking up closely with West Ham in the future”
