26th November: Tuesday’s Football Accumulator – 7/1

With an action-packed Tuesday night of footballing action from across Europe, we here at Soccer News have found a handful of helpful tips that can boost your midweek acca:

Tuesday 26th November

BST 19:45 Millwall vs Wigan

Starting with Tuesday’s hosts, putting in yet another very impressive performance and picking up a 1-0 win away at promotion contenders Swansea over the weekend, few in the Championship would have expected Millwall’s rise since bringing in Gary Rowett last month. Climbing into the top half of the table and landing back-to-back victories, the Lions have won three of their last four appearances and they have lost just one matchup over the past five weeks. It will undoubtedly be their form in South London most impressing the former Derby boss. Unbeaten in their last four matches at the Den and winning three of those contests, Millwall also really impressed in their 2-1 win over London rivals Charlton in their last appearance on home soil. Given Wigan’s continued issues heading into December, Tuesday’s hosts should be confident of extending on their stellar recent purple patch. Throwing away a one-goal lead at Stoke over the weekend and leaving the Bet365 Stadium empty-handed, Paul Cook’s men have lost their last three matches on the bounce and it should also be noted that they’re yet to record a single victory on the road since opening the 2019/2020 campaign.

Tip: Millwall win @ 1/1

19:45 Grimsby vs Cheltenham

Knowing that another victory on Tuesday will see them climb into the automatic positions, Cheltenham’s continued success on the road has continued to impress many in League Two. Despite only taking a point off of Colchester over the weekend, Tuesday’s guests are remarkably unbeaten in their last six matches outside of Gloucestershire, a run that stems back to the 3rd of September. Winning four of those contests and picking up victories over Walsall, Salford, Swindon, and Plymouth on that unbeaten run, the mood in Michael Duff’s camp remains at a continued high. With their sights set on munting a charge for League One this year, Cheltenham should be looking at Tuesday’s trip to Lincolnshire as a golden opportunity to extend on their stellar record on their travels. Now hit with back-to-back 2-0 defeat against Northampton and Newport, Grimsby have begun free-falling down the table and are in the midst of a real struggle. Failing to win any of their last nine matches across all competitions and losing seven of those contests, fans around Blundell Park have also seen their side fail to win any of their last four matches on home soil. Losing three of those contests, a run highlighted by a 4-0 defeat against Leyton Orient, Tuesday’s guests should be confident of picking up another victory in midweek.

Tip: Cheltenham draw no bet @ 1/1

20:00 Tottenham vs Olympiakos

While Tottenham would have been disappointed to have seen West Ham grab two late goals over the weekend, new Spurs boss Jose Mourinho saw his side open his tenure with a much-needed victory. With the former Chelsea and Manchester United boss knowing that a victory on Tuesday will see them secure a spot in the knockout stage of this year’s Champions League, the Portuguese tactician will be looking for the red-hot Heung-Min Son to spearhead their charge. Bagging the first goal of the Mourinho era at the London Stadium, the South Korean international, has four goals in his last three matches across all competitions. More impressive, the Spurs ace has continued to shine while on European duties. Bagging a brace against Red Star Belgrade earlier in the month, the 27-year-old has recorded five goals in just his last three Champions League appearances. With Olympiacos still sat firmly at the foot of Group B and unable to build off of their 2-2 draw against Tottenham back in September, Son should be confident of extending on his recent purple patch. Putting in a worrying display in their 2-0 defeat away at Bayern Munich last time out, the Greek giants have lost their last three qualifying matches on the bounce and it should also be noted that they have conceded two or more goals in each of their Group B appearances.

Tip: Heung-Min Son to score anytime & Tottenham win @ 11/10
