29th November: Sunday’s European Accumulator – 9/1

As we inch closer to December, we have a stacked schedule of footballing action on the cards this weekend from across Europe’s top-tiers. So, for those of you out there looking to stick on a Sunday flutter, we have searched far and wide to find you a handful of helpful tips that are worth keeping an eye out for.

Sunday 29th November

BST 13:30 Stevenage vs Hull City

Starting with Sunday’s guests, laying down what was another clinical marker earlier in the week, Hull managed to shock many across League One as they eventually breezed past Ipswich at Portman Road. Leaving East Anglia with a 3-0 romp to show for their troubles away at the play-off chasers, Grant McCann’s men really find the mood in their camp at a red-hot high as they turn their attention back to FA Cup duties this weekend. Skyrocketing their way to the top of the table in England’s third-tier and seen as a leading contender to book a Championship return at the first attempt, the Tigers find themselves enjoying a glittering six-match winning run across all formats. Enjoying their brightest run in recent memory, this weekend’s guests have also gained a real reputation for their free-scoring displays. Including that 3-0 romp away at the Blues in midweek, Hull have managed to bag themselves over 2.5 goals in each of their last three victories on the spin. Rightfully seen as a standout pick with the bookies on Sunday, McCann’s men should be confident of laying down another marker against lower league opposition. While Stevenage might have managed to end their worrying rut earlier in the week, it should be noted that the League Two hosts have managed to win just one of their last 13 fourth-tier contests.

Tip: Hull City to score over 1.5 goals @ 5/6

14:00 AC Milan vs Fiorentina

While AC Milan would have been disappointed to have only collected a point away at Lille on Europa League duties earlier in the week, I Rossoneri are enjoying what has been nothing short than a stunning Serie A purple patch. Capitalizing on the likes of Juventus’ and Inter’s inconsistent start to the 2020/2021 campaign, many feel that Stefano Pioli’s men could be a genuine title challenger this season and they open up the weekend holding a two-point buffer at the top of the table. With a resurging Zlatan Ibrahimović enjoying a real purple patch, the Italian heavyweights were last seen on domestic duties putting on an eye-catching performance on the road. With the Swedish icon bagging himself a brace, AC managed to land a thumping 3-1 romp away at Napoli and they’re unbeaten in each of their eight Serie A contests so far this season. Mustering up a points tally of 20 on their stellar run of form, Sunday’s hosts have also managed to pick up some notable scalps. Including a 2-1 win against their crosstown rivals earlier in the month, they have already come past both Napoli and Roma without tasting defeat. On the flip side, despite their Coppa Italia victory in midweek, Fiorentina have managed to collect just one point from their last three Serie A contests and have shown some real issues in the final third. Also winning just one of their last seven top-flight appearances, we’re backing a home victory this weekend.

Tip: AC Milan win & AC Milan to score over 1.5 goals @ 21/20

14:30 Bayer Leverkusen vs Hertha Berlin

Starting with Sunday’s hosts, continuing on their Europa League romp earlier in the week, Bayer Leverkusen managed to land a thumping 4-1 win against Hapoel Be’er Sheva and have all but secured their spot in the knockout stage once again. Enjoying a hugely impressive start to the new Bundesliga campaign and receiving a string of praise from across the continent, Peter Bosz’s men open up this weekend’s fixtures sat just a single point adrift of climbing to the top of the table. In fact, unbeaten in any of their eight top-flight contests since opening the 2020/2021 campaign, Die Werkself are in the midst of a five-match winning run across all competitions and have continued to shine in the final third. Bagging themselves 18 goals on their winning run and recorded a quartet of strikes in four of their last five victories, it is well worth keeping an eye out for leading marksman Lucas Alario on Sunday. Finding the net while on European duties in midweek, the 28-year-old has already racked up 10 goals across all formats so far this season and he has bagged seven goals in just his last five Bundesliga contests. On the flip side, eventually blown away by a 5-2 drumming at the hands of BVB on home soil, Hertha Berlin have collected just four points over their last seven top-flight appearances and will face another tough test at the BayArena.

Tip: Bayer Leverkusen win & Lucas Alario to score anytime @ 7/4
