A seven-way race for Havertz

According to German outlet Bild, the representatives of Bayer Leverkusen’s Kai Havertz have been in contact with seven clubs, all potential destinations for the attacking midfielder. Those clubs are Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Liverpool, Manchester City, Chelsea and Manchester United.

Havertz has quickly become one of the most sought-after players on the market, with the possibility of acquiring his services much greater for any club than some other young players of top quality who are already at top European clubs; such as Kylian Mbappe, for example. It appears he is currently weighing up different possibilities, and the financial aspect of any deal takes the back seat in his mind with working with a top coach, one that can help him develop further, being the main factor in his potential decision.

It is believed that playing in a team run by someone like Jurgen Klopp or Pep Guardiola could be very tempting in that aspect, but Bayern would also stand a good chance if they appoint Mauricio Pochettino.
