Aaron Ramsey about to join Cardiff City

Former Arsenal and Juventus midfielder Aaron Ramsey is about to join Cardiff City, according to Fabrizio Romano. The Italian journalist has reported on Twitter that Ramsey has reached an agreement with Cardiff over a move to Welsh club on a free transfer this summer.

Romano has claimed that Ramsey will undergo a medical on Thursday before putting pen to paper on a contract with Cardiff. The 32-year-old Wales international midfielder is a free agent at the moment after leaving French club Nice at the end of last season.

Cardiff struggled last season and ended up as low as 21st in the Championship table. It all be interesting to see if the Bluebirds are able to challenge for the playoff spots this time around. Ramsey made 18 starts and nine substitute appearances in Ligue 1 last season, scoring one goal and providing one assist in the process.
