AC Milan have reached an agreement with Manchester City over a loan transfer of Kyle Walker, according to multiple sources.
The defender will join Milan for the rest of the season, at the end of which the Rossoneri will have an option (but not an obligation) to turn the transfer into a permanent one. In the meantime, his wages will fully be paid by Milan.
Walker has apparently agreed a two-year contract with Milan, if the seven-time European champions decide to take him on permanently. Plans are currently being formed for his flight to Italy and the medical to take place.
Walker has played a total of 319 matches for Manchester City, scoring six goals and producing 23 assists across all competitions. He has six Premier League titles with the club, as well as two FA Cups, four League Cups, and two Charity Shields. In 2023, he helped them win their first-ever Champions League trophy, along with the UEFA Super Cup and the FIFA Club World Cup.
After such a successful spell at the Etihad, the 34-year-old England international is obviously ready for a new challenge.
