Adidas & Real Madrid set for blockbuster deal

As reported by Marca, Adidas are set to pay Real Madrid a huge £96 million over the course of the next 10 years starting in 2020 – which would mark the most lucrative kit deal in all of football. Both parties have already enjoyed a successful relationship but now they seem to be more ready than ever before to take things to the next level.

Real are currently struggling to make too much of an impact this season following an uncertain start to proceedings, although given the quality in their ranks, it certainly seems like they’ve got it in them to go on a late run towards the end of the season.

Even if they don’t wind up winning the Champions League again or La Liga, as disappointing as that’d be, they’re still arguably the biggest club in world football from a financial standpoint and we can’t see that changing anytime soon.
