Agent: Milan ignore Ibrahimovic interest

Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s agent has revealed that there are four or five clubs tracking the striker, but said AC Milan are unwilling to sell.

The forward is coming off the most prolific campaign of his career but speculation is rife that Manchester City are interested in signing the 30-year-old, while there has also been talk that Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri wants to get rid of the Swede.

However, Ibrahimovic’s representative Mino Raiola insisted that there is no chance of his client leaving San Siro this off-season.

“There are four or five clubs that are keeping an eye on him,” the agent told Sky Sport24.

“However, Milan were clear with us: Ibra is not for sale.”

Raiola also dismissed reports that Ibrahimovic’s quotes about Milan’s alleged financial problems have not gone down well with club chief Adriano Galliani.

“The player didn’t want to say that Milan have no money – he expressed himself badly,” Raiola said.

“Galliani is calm. He knows that these things were twisted but he understands what Ibra meant.”

Ibrahimovic netted 28 times in 32 Serie A games in 2011-12.
