Competition: Turkmenistan Yokary Liga

Market: Ahal FK win

Odds: 1/2 @ Bet 365

With limited midweek fixtures again this week, we once again turn our attention to the Turkmenistan Yokary Liga. Hoping to extend their buffer at the top of the table, Ahal FK will make the trip to a struggling Nebitci on Wednesday afternoon.

Starting with the hosts, while Nebitci may have managed to pick up what was a much-needed and shock 1-0 victory over defending champions Altyn Asyr last time out, it does not cover what has been a worrying start to the new campaign. Only managing to collect six points in their opening seven contests, Amanmyrat Meredow’s men appear destined for another battle at the foot of the Yokary Liga this season. Losing four of their last five top-flight outings, there is no doubt that fans around the Balkanabat Stadiony will be calling on their side to find some real stability on home soil. While they may have managed to land what was an incredibly flattering victory in front of their own supporters last week, Nebitci have lost six of their last nine Yokary Liga appearances at home.

As for the visitors, making a return to winning ways thanks to what was a deserved 2-0 win at home against Energetik last week, Ahal find themselves holding a two-point buffer at the top of the table after securing a silver medal finish last season. Opening the new campaign in stellar form all collecting 15 points out of a possible 18, the mood in Hojaahmet Arazow’s camp remains at a constant high. Losing just one of their last six matches on the road, there is no doubt that Wednesday’s guests should also be boosted by their stellar record against Nebitci. Landing back-to-back 2-0 wins, the title challengers are unbeaten in their last nine matchups against the hosts and have remarkably recorded five clean sheets against Nebitci on the bounce.

Bet: Ahal FK 1/2 to beat Nebitci in Wednesday’s Turkmenistan Yokary Liga matchup @ Bet 365
