Hamburger SV midfielder Alen Halilovic, who only joined Bundesliga outfit from Barcelona last summer, is tipped to make a swift return to the Spanish championship.
The 20-year-old Croatia international failed to establish himself as the first-team choice for the Bundesliga strugglers this season, having made mere six appearances for Hamburger SV thus far, only one of which was start.
According to reports from the Spanish media outlet AS, Alen Halilovic has been offered to Leganes, but Aiser Garitano is believed not to be a huge fan of the Croatian starlet and is looking for reinforcements elsewhere.
In the meantime, Sporting Gijon have expressed interest in bringing Halilovic back after a successful loan spell in 2015-2016 which saw Halilovic play 36 La Liga matches and score 3 goals in the process.
Espanyol are another La Liga side to be linked with the Balkan Messi, who is so far failing to live up to his moniker. What is more, Barcelona local rivals have emerged as one of the favourites to land the Croatian starlet.
