Arnautovic set for West Ham stay

Sky Sports understands that Marko Arnautovic is set to stay at West Ham United beyond next week’s transfer deadline.

The Austria international had been heavily linked with a move to the Chinese Super League though both of his suitors – Guangzhou Evergrande and Shanghai SIPG – failed to meet his valuation.

The twenty-nine-year old has scored seven goals in sixteen Premier League appearances so far this term but was left out of the squad for Saturday’s 2-0 defeat at Bournemouth.

Since signing from Stoke City in the summer of 2017, Arnautovic has played fifty-three times in all competitions, scoring nineteen goals.

Internationally, he has been capped seventy-seven times for his country, scoring twenty goals while he was part of the squad that went to the 2016 European Championships.

West Ham head to League One AFC Wimbledon on Saturday evening and can be backed at a price of 9/20 to secure victory.
