Arsenal back in for Kalou

Arsene Wenger is set to renew his interest in signing Lille striker Salomon Kalou when the transfer window reopens at the end of the season, according to the Mirror.

The former Chelsea man was strongly linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium back in January, and has since claimed that he turned down the opportunity to join up with Arsene Wenger’s side.

A number of other Premier League clubs have also targeted the Ivory Coast international, though the Gunners are in pole position to secure his services.

Kalou has scored 25 goals in 59 league appearances since moving to the Stade Pierre-Mauroy in the summer of 2012 after a six year spell at Stamford Bridge.

Lille currently sit in third in Ligue 1, six points behind second place Monaco and they will hope to close that gap when they travel to Toulouse at the weekend, where they are priced at 17/10 for the win.
