Arsenal continue Ramsdale push

According to a recent report from Sky Sports, Arsenal are continuing their push to try and sign Sheffield United goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale.

The man himself wants the move, Arsenal have hinted at it enough times and the two clubs are edging closer and closer to agreeing a deal. The talks are focused on the actual structure of the move with regards to how much is paid up front and how much comes from add-ons, but beyond that, it feels like it’s a virtual done deal.

The Gunners faithful are hardly going to be blown away by the signing of a back-up goalkeeper but at the very least, it gives them a bit more security if Bernd Leno goes down with an injury.

Arsenal need to show plenty more steel and determination both on and off the pitch but this is another body through the door, and that in itself can’t be a bad thing.
