Arsenal go after Dembele

According to Sport, Arsenal have made an enquiry to Barcelona over the potential purchase of Ousmane Dembele. The Frenchman has had one or two attitude problems over the course of his time at the Nou Camp which isn’t exactly new information, and it’s one of the reasons as to why Barca are weighing up their options with him.

The forward is exceptionally talented in front of goal but definitely needs a change of pace it seems, and he’s still young enough to turn things around. Unai Emery is the man driving this potential deal forward, which represents a real changing of the guard for the Gunners as they are no longer afraid to go after the big stars in the market.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is said to be a close friend of Dembele’s dating back to their time with Borussia Dortmund, which could give Arsenal the edge over any other top European clubs who are looking into signing him.
