Arsenal keen on Ruben Loftus-Cheek

North London giants Arsenal are said to be preparing a January swoop for the Chelsea outcast Ruben Loftus-Cheek.

The 22-year-old has reportedly been disillusioned with his life at Stamford Bridge after being widely ignored by the new boss Maurizio Sarri.

Loftus-Cheek failed to break into the Blues’ starting XI and only made two Premier League appearances this season.

The England international returned to Stamford Bridge after a successful loan spell at Crystal Palace last season but could be on the move once again when the transfer window reopens in January.

The ESPN sources have confirmed Arsenal boss Unai Emery is a keen admirer of Ruben Loftus-Cheek and is looking to bring him on a permanent deal during winter.

Chelsea appear to be willing to discuss a deal with the Gunners but would only let him leave on a six-month loan before evaluating his position at the end of the season.

Everton and Crystal Palace are said to be monitoring the situation as well.
