According to a recent report from Marca, three major Premier League clubs are interested in signing Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos – Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool. The 22 year old put on a string of impressive performances for Spain during the recent European U21 Championship, and could be set to leave the Bernabeu on loan during the summer transfer window. There is believed to be interest in Ceballos from his former club Real Betis, though, who are more than willing to take him on loan.
Arsenal and Tottenham will likely be the two clubs out of the three that would be more urgent in trying to get a deal done, but that doesn’t mean we should rule out Liverpool as they attempt to go after the Premier League title in the wake of their Champions League triumph in Madrid.
Either way, it doesn’t seem like Ceballos is destined to stay beyond the summer.
