This is going to be one crazy summer for Arsenal. The Gunners are still in the unknown due to coronavirus pandemic and no one really knows when football will return, if it does this season after all. But, Arsenal are in even more problems, as they have to prepare for the summer transfer window and they have no clue where they will play next season, in which European competition, if any. They might miss out on them through the league and after crashing out of Europa League, that is an even bigger problem.
And for such transfer window, they will need funds, funds they want to get from selling Henrikh Mkhitaryan. The Armenian has been on loan this season, at AS Roma, but it looks like the Serie A outfit will not be eager to sign him on a permanent deal. Especially not considering the Gunners’ asking price.
According to Calciomercato, Arsenal are demanding 22 million pounds from Roma in order to let the player leave. If that is their overall asking price, Arsenal might have problems to sell the player to anyone, considering a hectic summer ahead.
