Arsenal to lower Mustafi price

According to a recent report from Tuttosport, Arsenal have been told that they need to lower the £25 million asking price for defender Shkodran Mustafi. That has come directly from his father and agent, who believes that it is best for both sides to try and work on a way to get him out of the club.

Gunners boss Unai Emery said the same thing last week, essentially confirming that Mustafi would not be featuring into his plans anytime soon.

The defender has been viewed as a bit of a disappointment as of late and in recent months, with many believing that he is one of the worst defenders Arsenal have had in the last decade or so in the Premier League.

Regardless of what your opinion is of him as a player, though, it certainly feels like the best thing for all parties is to try and get this over the finish line as quickly as possible.
