Arsenal to replace Welbeck?

“I am not saying that [Welbeck’s injury] is a green light to go to the market because we have some very good players who may not get further opportunities, such as Eddie Nketiah. So we need to see. We are in November so it is a good time to start analysing what options we have in the market”.

Those are the words of Arsenal’s head of football Raul Sanllehi, as speculation grows over the future of Danny Welbeck.

The Englishman’s long term injury could prove to be the nail in the coffin of his Arsenal career, which would be a shame given that he had been on a great run of form prior to the injury happening.

Welbeck is still searching for a new deal and it’ll all come down to whether or not the Gunners can see past his injury, and it also depends on how quickly he can get back to full fitness.
