Arsenal want Zubizarreta?

According to a recent report from L’Equipe, Arsenal are interested in making Andoni Zubizarreta their new sporting director during the summer transfer window. The Gunners have been aiming to find a more permanent fixture for this role for quite some time now, and as we look ahead to the next few months, it seems like that could well be one of their main priorities behind the scenes. They recently missed out on acquiring both Monchi and Marc Overmars in their pursuit of a new man for the role, with Zubizarreta being viewed as the next best candidate.

Things have been going increasingly well for Arsenal on the pitch in recent months, but in order for Unai Emery to keep building a strong foundation at the Emirates, he needs to be able to rely on a sporting director that is going to work hand in hand with him on every possible issue.
