Arteta believes Arsenal must strengthen

“In January, the situation was that we had to fill some gaps and give some stability to the squad,” he said. “Now is the moment to make another step forward and improve the squad and the players that we have.”

Those are the words of Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta who has told Sky Sports that he believes it is important that the club improves the squad during the summer transfer window.

While the Gunners are still going to be focusing their attention on the final six games of the Premier Laegue campaign, it’s hard not to look ahead to what they could try and achieve in the transfer market.

They need to spend money to bring in some fresh faces, and they also need to do an awful lot to keep hold of players that they can’t really afford to let go – with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang being a shining example of that.
