According to a recent report from Sport, Aston Villa have one month to decide whether or not to sign Philippe Coutinho this summer.
The 29-year-old Brazilian is currently out on loan with Aston Villa from Barcelona and while he may have dropped off slightly in recent months, he burst onto the scene in a big way upon first arriving at Villa Park.
Steven Gerrard knows just how talented he is and how good he can be, especially if they’re able to land him for the £35 million amount that has been rumoured.
Villa are hobbling over the finish line in the Premier League and with not that much left to play for, the club will likely have to base this decision on what they’ve already seen as opposed to what’s to come.
Either way, we’re in for a pretty big summer transfer window for the Midland side – for better or worse.
