Atalanta want to sign Roma right-back

Atalanta have found out their path that could lead them all the way to the UEFA Champions League final this season, as the draw was held this Friday, but they also know what they want to do for the next season. The club from Bergamo already signed Mario Pasalic on a permanent deal after the Croatian played really well for them and now Atalanta want to snap another potential coup for them.

According to Calciomercato, Atalanta are ready to go after Alessandro Florenzi, whose time at AS Roma seems to be going up. The right-back has been on loan at Valencia since this past January and he still has a contract with Roma until 2023, which is not something they are too happy about these days.

But, it looks like Roma are to let him go and Atalanta could be his next stop. Atalanta are known for offering chances to outcasts and players who have not found their best form at other clubs and then use them incredibly well. Who knows, maybe that is Florenzi’s path now…
