La Liga champions Atletico Madrid are keeping close tabs on Barcelona winger Gerard Deulofeu, AS can reveal.
Los Colchoneros boss Diego Simeone values the 20-year-old highly and he is closely monitoring his situation with a view of luring him to Vicente Calderon.
And while Barcelona would consider selling the talented forward, they are not too keen on letting him join their title rivals.
After impressing while on loan at Goodison Park, Deulofeu was loaned to Sevilla in the summer, and while he initially struggled for playing time, the Spain Under-21 international seems to have nailed down a regular starting berth at Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan.
Deulofeu made a total of 8 competitive appearances for los Rojiblancos this term, scoring one goal in the process.
Following the brilliant start to the new campaign, Sevilla sit in second place, albeit level on points with leaders Barcelona and they can be backed at 13/8 to finish in top 4.
