According to a recent report from Mundo Deportivo, Atletico Madrid are possible contenders to sign midfielder N’Golo Kante.
The Chelsea star, who has been riddled with injuries in recent months, has been linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge for a good few weeks now. It didn’t transpire in January but when looking ahead to the summer transfer window, Atletico are listed as one of the frontrunners.
The Blues are reportedly willing to let him leave as a free agent after many years of great service to the boys from the capital.
Graham Potter has been part of a new wave of incoming players in January and despite their continued struggles on the pitch, Chelsea aren’t overly interested in turning to Kante as their saviour.
The Frenchman has a whole lot of experience when it comes to dragging teams towards success. As such, Atletico will be chomping at the bit to get him in.
