Atletico Madrid pursue Lacazette

According to a recent report from AS, Atletico Madrid are set to revive their interest in trying to sign Arsenal forward Alexandre Lacazette.

It comes after the news that the Gunners decided to lower his asking price to just £15 million, prompting quite the mixed response from Arsenal supporters. Some feel as if his time at the Emirates has naturally come to an end, whereas others are of the belief that he should stay – or that the club should try and get more money for him.

Lacazette still has a lot of gas left in the tank but the question remains as to when exactly he’s going to make a decision regarding his future. La Liga is an entirely different challenge to the Premier League but upon joining the reigning champions, you also have to wonder how much time he’d get in the starting XI – especially as they attempt to defend their title.
