Aubameyang & Lacazette set for new deals?

“They are very important players and their contracts need to be in the same balance,” said Emery.

“It’s one circumstance, one issue now, that the club is working on.

“Edu [techincal director] is here for that reason. There’s also Raul [Sanllehi] and Huss [Fahmy], working with the players for that. It’s important for them, but my focus is on preparing the matches, each training session and making sure the players are focused and concentrated for us and on the work.”

Arsenal manager Unai Emery, as you can tell by the following quotes, has confirmed that the club are working on new contracts for both Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette. The duo are considered to be one of the best strike partnerships in world football today, and certainly in the Premier League.

Above all else, securing them to a long term contract could be vital for the club’s future as they attempt to contend for the top four.
