Barcelona hatch plan to sign Julian Alvarez from Atletico Madrid

Barcelona have a plan to sign Julian Alvarez from Atletico Madrid without paying the transfer fee that the Rojiblancos want, according to Fichajes. The report in the Spanish news outlet has claimed that last season’s La Liga winners plan to use players in a swap deal for the former Manchester City striker.

The report has noted: ‘In this scenario, Barcelona are already working on a plan to lower the cost of the signing.

‘The strategy involves including players in the operation as part of the payment.

‘Several names are on the table. Marc Casado, Eric García, or Ferran Torres are some of the players who could be involved in the negotiation to lower the transfer fee.

‘This approach would allow Barça to approach Atlético’s demands without making an excessive financial outlay.

‘Furthermore, it would offer the Madrid club the opportunity to strengthen their squad with experienced players.

‘The operation will not be easy, and lengthy negotiations are expected. Nevertheless, there is cautious optimism at Barcelona, knowing that the player’s desire could play a significant role.

‘The future of Julián Álvarez promises to be one of the biggest sagas of the summer. Barça is clear: he is their number one target, and they will do everything possible to see him in Blaugrana colours.’
