According to a recent report from Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona are not planning on selling Ousmane Dembele during the summer transfer window. The controversial forward has been gaining a lot of interest from Bayern Munich in recent weeks, but the only way in which he’d be able to leave is if a club triggers his £360 million buyout clause. That kind of figure seems unthinkable right now even in the current landscape of world football, which leads us to believe that Barcelona are telling the truth – and that he won’t be going anywhere, any time soon.
Dembele has had his ups and downs during his run at the Nou Camp, but the club certainly seems to believe that he has the potential to do some big things for them in the not so distant future.
Whether he stays or goes, though, one thing is for sure: the upcoming season is going to be a massive one for his career.
