Barcelona still want Reinier

According to a recent report from Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona are still very much interested in the potential signing of Brazilian sensation Reinier. However, they aren’t willing to pay the £60 million fee that is being demanded of them by Flamengo, who are well aware of the fact that they have their own star on their hands. 

Barca look set to have a busy few transfer windows as they attempt to build their squad up to contend in the Champions League once again, and it seems as if they’ve got all sorts of targets. The competition for places in their starting XI is already pretty fierce, but they aren’t afraid to add fuel to the fire. 

Many believe that if Reinier did wind up signing then there’s a very good chance he could be shipped back off on loan for a season or two. At the age of just 17, gaining that experience probably wouldn’t be the worst thing.
