According to a recent report from The Telegraph, Barcelona are ready and willing to help pay a portion of Philippe Coutinho’s wages in order for him to leave the club.

It’s not exactly a secret that things haven’t quite worked out for the Brazilian as many would’ve hoped over in Spain, and the same could arguably be said for what he’s been able to achieve, or not been able to achieve, with Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga.

Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur are two of the clubs that have shown their interest in Coutinho, but Barca is well aware of the fact that £200,000-per-week isn’t a realistic fee to be paying someone in the current climate. Therefore, they’re starting to come to terms with the fact that they will have to put forward some of the funds if they are to finally move on from this two-year chapter.

Will he find success back in the Premier League? Only time will tell.
