According to a recent report from Mundo Deportivo, Spanish giants Barcelona are set to make an improved offer for Napoli midfielder Fabian Ruiz next summer after failing to secure his services before the end of this year’s window. There’s also the possibility of them going back to the deal in January, but at this moment in time, it seems like their priorities may be elsewhere during the winter window.
Barca are more than willing to pay around £55 million in order to secure the signing of Ruiz, who has long since been viewed as a major target for Barca.
Napoli have done everything they can in order to hold onto him for as long as they have done, but when a team like Barcelona comes knocking more than once, it seems like only a matter of time until they’re going to get what they want.
At the very least, though, Napoli will be paid handsomely for their troubles.
