Bayern Munich go after de Jong

According to a recent report from Mundo Deportivo, Bayern Munich are ready to make a push to sign Frenkie de Jong.

The 25-year-old Dutchman has been at the heart of great speculation over the course of the summer transfer window. While there’s been no confirmation regarding his immediate future and what he wants to do next, it definitely feels as if staying at the Nou Camp isn’t going to be feasible given what the club wants.

Manchester United have been heavily linked with de Jong throughout the summer but it doesn’t appear as if they’re getting any closer to getting him signed.

Now, Bayern are beginning to enter the conversation, and they’re doing so with the intention of really getting after this signing and making something happen in the next few days and weeks.

The German giants have looked great so far this season and with de Jong, they could be genuine Champions League favourites.
