According to Gazzetta dello Sport, German giants Bayern Munich are monitoring the progress of Cengiz Under. The 21 year old has been catching the eye of many clubs across European football, with Under’s former chairman being the man who has revealed Bayern’s interest. He hinted that Under could be bought for a large sum, which would hardly come as much of a surprise given how much attention he’s been drawing.
Still, there’s a long way to go before anything is made official, and a big reason for that comes down to Roma themselves. The Italian club will be desperate to keep hold of Cengiz for as long as they possibly can, especially seeing as several other big names of theirs have made similar moves in recent years.
Under will be hoping to make an impact this weekend as Roma return to Serie A action against SPAL, before hosting CSKA Moscow in the Champions League.
