Bayern Munich lead race for Tyler Booth

German giants Bayern Munich have emerged as shock favourites to sign the 16-year-old United States talent Tyler Booth.

A technically gifted central midfielder hit the stage running as the youngest player during the recent Under 17 FIFA World Cup in India with several Europe’s top clubs taking notice of his qualities and potential.

Bayern Munich were apparently one of the clubs who wrote Tyler Booth’s name down and have already emerged as frontrunners for his signature, according to the Washington Post journalist Steven Geoff.

Booth is a member of the MLS side Real Salt Lake Academy and was expected to make a swift transition to the senior squad ahead of the 2018 season.

Bayern Munich, however, appear to have other plans and are said to be extremely keen on landing the talented midfielder during the winter transfer market.

Bavarian giants haven’t had much success with US internationals recently with Julian Green being shipped out on loan and Timothy Tilman yet to prove his worth in Regionalliga with Bayern Munich.
