Bayern Munich still want Sane?

According to a recent report from Bild, German champions Bayern Munich have yet to rule out the possibility of signing Leroy Sane during the summer transfer window. This is despite the fac that Sane has been ruled out for around six to seven months with a knee ligament injury, which pretty much rules him out of the entire 2019/20 season.

While that isn’t exactly the outcome that anyone would’ve been hoping for, it certainly is interesting to note that this could be the factor behind the door being swung back open for this deal. We’ve all known about Bayern’s interest in the Germany international for a long time now, but it just didn’t seem like they could come to terms on any kind of realistic deal. Now, though, Bayern may view this as the perfect opportunity to really pounce on City’s misfortunes.

It’s not the best way of going about things, but that’s what you have to do in order to get the job done sometimes.
