According to a recent report from Daily Telegraph, Bayern Munich are willing to sell star defender David Alaba during the summer transfer window.

The Austrian’s contract is set to expire next summer, with Bayern wanting to cash in on him before he gets the chance to test the waters as a free agent. Alaba is believed to be valued at around £45 million, with this news welcoming interest from the likes of Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester City, Liverpool and Manchester United.

Alaba has been at the forefront of this Bayern golden generation for many years now, with many not being able to picture a world in which he isn’t playing for the German giants.

Bayern are clearly moving into a new era for the club with a lot of turnover being expected, but whether or not they actually commit to keeping Alaba on the books for another few years is still one of the biggest talking points for fans.
