According to a recent report from AS, Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin looks “poised” to leave the club during the summer transfer window.
The comments come after it was reported that the Gunners are putting together a plan to pursue Inter Milan defender Achraf Hakimi, with the intention being that he would replace the outgoing Bellerin.
It’s no secret that Bellerin hasn’t quite been able to live up to the standards he once set in recent years, and his form has divided opinion amongst a lot of Arsenal fans.
Some think he’s still a valued member of the squad whereas others are happy to see what kind of offer they get for him.
Regardless of which group you fall into it will certainly be strange if he does end up leaving, but if he does, there could be no finer replacement than Hakimi as his rise to prominence over in Italy continues.
