Besiktas striker Cenk Tosun’s wonder-volley voted the Champions League goal of the year (VIDEO)

A truly stunning Champions League season is behind us, filled with many wonderful goals.

European football governing body’s online public poll on the best goal of the season was introduced to decide who the winner will be and the results are now out.

With 41% of the votes Besiktas striker Cenk Tosun’s volley goal against Benfica was voted the best, in front of Mario Mandzukic’s goal scored in the final of the competition. The Coratia international striker’s effort received 19% of the votes.
