Betis join chase for Wilshere

Real Betis have joined the race to sign out-of-favour Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere, according to the Mail Online.

The twenty-five year old is out of contract at the end of the season and will be free to open talks once he enters the final six months of his current deal.

The North London club are no strangers to doing deals with Betis with forward Joel Campbell currently on loan with the La Liga outfit.

Whilst Arsene Wenger is keen for him to remain at the Emirates Stadium, he has barely featured this season and is looking to work his way into Gareth Southgate’s thoughts ahead of next summer’s World Cup finals in Russia.

Wilshere has played just a handful of appearances so far this season, and both of his Premier League outings came as a substitute while he spent most of the 2016/17 campaign on loan at Bournemouth.
