According to reports in England, Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea are all monitoring the progress of Ousmane Dembele. The Barcelona forward has been heavily linked with a switch to English football, with the report suggesting that Barca have told him to find a new club in January despite getting off to a great start this season.
Dembele seemed as if he’d wind up being a flop following a poor first year at the Nou Camp, but now, he finally seems to be hitting his stride. That is what makes this story seem slightly unlikely, but at the same time, it’s no secret that he isn’t going to be viewed as the main man with Barcelona until Lionel Messi retires and there’s a good chance that won’t happen for at least a few more years.
Who knows, perhaps a surprise loan move could be on the cards in January or next summer.
