Bissouma to stay at Brighton?

According to a recent report from Sky Sports, Brighton manager Graham Potter says he’s confident Yves Bissouma will stay at the club.

The midfielder has been viewed as one of the best players for the Seagulls so far this season and as such, he’s been heavily linked with a move away from the south coast.

Aston Villa have been the frontrunners in recent weeks but as per this report, Potter isn’t going to let him go without a fight.

Villa have already made some substantial noise by bringing Philippe Coutinho into the mix during the January transfer window but Brighton don’t want to allow someone so talented to also head to the Midlands, especially when they’re having such a strong campaign in the Premier League.

Now, it’s all about ensuring they add to their ranks, too, given that a few more wins could see them make a sustained push for the top six.
